No children are allowed in Testing Center.

For weather closures, check our website at https://www.otc.edu/ and your local news station.
If OTC is closed, Testing Services will also be closed.

• Bring your photo ID and course information with you.
• Be sure to arrive with enough time to complete your test before the center closes.
• If you need to cancel/change your scheduled time slot, please email tswaynesville@otc.edu and include your OTC student number

HiSET proctoring sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday by appointment only. Please visit HiSET.org to create your account and to schedule exams. For assistance, call Customer Services PSI-HISET (1-855-694-4738)

GED proctoring is held on Wednesdays at the Waynesville Testing Center by appointment only. Please visit GED.com to create your account and to schedule your exams. For assistance, call 1-877-392-6433 or use the blue ‘Chat’ icon on their screen.

Disability Support Services (DSS) Exams

• Please submit your Exam Request for each exam at least 5 days prior to the exam date.
• To schedule your test with accommodations, use the “OTC Students Schedule Here” button above to schedule a time and also complete this form: DSS Exam Request.
• All appointments utilizing accommodations, including extended time, must be within the Waynesville Testing Center’s hours of operation or the request will be denied.

*There is a $20 proctor fee per exam for non-OTC exams. You must pay your testing fee online. To pay your testing fee go to the Commerce Manager Payer and follow the “Testing” link on that page. There will be a $3.00 processing fee when paying with Commerce Manager (total fee of $23.00).

Exam Requirements:

• Computer-based exams must not require a software download
• Paper-based exams must be emailed to the testing center at tswaynesville@otc.edu. We will not mail exams back through USPS, UPS or FedEx.

Please have your institution email all correspondence to tswaynesville@otc.edu; they will need to provide the following:

• The password to administer the exam
• Whether any resources are allowed during the exam
• Time allotted for the exam

You will need to schedule an appointment for your proctored exam using our scheduler: WEC Testing: OTC Waynesville Education Center (signupgenius.com)
Make your appointment with your university/college student information.
If your test utilizes CANVAS, you will have log in access from the Test Center computers for the exam.

On the day of the exam bring the following:

• A valid photo ID
• A printed receipt for your scheduled test
